Julesburg Elementary School hosted its annual Family Fitness Night on November 14th and it was a success.  Over 100 students and their families attended and took part in several health and fitness activities including balance balls/boards, climbing ropes, ping pong, yoga, bowling, gymnastics and many others.  Included in these activities was a visit from community member and Julesburg Mayor Chad Hoschouer who brought in his medical expertise by teaching our families about first aid and CPR.  Also, JES was extremely fortunate to have Ann Clouse and Jayden Miracle from the Northeastern Colorado Health Department join the festivities.  As a part of their display, they shared with families the importance of hydration and taught them about ways to infuse water with ingredients like lemons and cucumbers as well as strawberries to help increase our water intake.  They also allowed their new smoothie bike to make its debut and indeed it was a favorite of the evening.  JES would like to thank all of the families for attending.
