The entire student body and staff of the Julesburg School District learned about the essential elements of the Standard Response Protocol (SRP) during separate morning assemblies between the elementary and high school buildings. An afternoon assembly will host our substitute teaching staff. SRP is based on the responses to any given situation. It is a uniform, planned, and practiced response to any incident that may occur at school, to ensure student and school safety. By using a standardized vocabulary all students and staff understand the response and status of the event. Parents play an important roll in our safety and success as well and can learn more, by exploring this link: https://5il.co/1hyp3
