Representatives from the Northeastern Colorado Health Department meet with students from the Julesburg High School today to educate them on tobacco, e-cigarettes & vaping. Did you know Colorado has the highest percentage of youth vapers? Just this week there have been 125 new confirmed cases related to vaping.


Mrs. Sanabria's 4th graders learning about the importance of adding details and important vocabulary when writing explanatory pieces in order to make a sundae!


Extra! Extra! Come get your Holiday Wreaths! Julesburg FFA is selling wreaths to raise funds for the program! Sales will go through November 6th. Items are available December 2nd-6th. We have local delivery and direct-to-door delivery available!! A few examples of what is being sold is included...plus many more options! 6th Grade is working hard and studying for the upcoming Unit 2 Math test. They will be proving that they can use algorithms to compute multi-digit numbers both whole and decimal. So proud of the perseverance and effort that they have put in during this unit.

Social Skills, so important for students to be successful in school and life! Together we need to remember the importance of developing these skills in partnership at school and at home!


Students in 8th Grade Art are practicing their value and shading skills before they move on to their first pencil drawing of the year.


Students in Personal Finance class are learning how to figure taxes that are deducted from an employee's paycheck. They now know how to calculate federal income tax, state income tax, social security tax, and medicare tax so they have an understanding of where all their wages go.

The JHS Robotics team traveled to NJC today for the Golden Plains BEST Robotics practice day. Teams are given the opportunity to test their robots on the playing field and make any necessary adjustments before the official competition next Saturday!




Thank you to Sherri Brandt with the NRCS for the great presentation to our sixth graders on soil health. The students are ready to kick off their work for the poster contest and we are excited to see what they create!
