Mrs. Hansen's preschool class is figuring out new ways to use technology all the time! We practice number writing, use the spotlight remote to search for letters, and pass the speaker ball during classroom activities. "Who stole the cookie from the cookie jar?" is more fun when you get to hear your voice amplified!!

It may look like Kindergarten is doing a science experiment, but we were actually learning about looking closely at our stories and adding details to our illustrations.

Readers theater is a great way for students to increase their reading fluency while having fun. Each student has a part just like in a play. They read and if they feel comfortable, they can act out their character's part. Each module has a different readers theater. We practice the readers theater a few times to really build that smooth reading. They can't wait for module two! You have come so far so fast second graders! I'm so proud of you! Thanks, also to Mrs. Pitzer for helping us to practice our readers theater!

3rd and 4th grades made dragon eyes for art. Mrs. A taught students how to mold the clay and add details to make their own unique dragon eye. Thank you to Mrs. A for coming into the classroom to teach us how to do this cool art project. Students made some very creative eyes, can't wait to see them once they are finished.

We took advantage of the warm weather (and shade) to complete our daily Heggerty lesson outside. We are working on rhyming, beginning sounds, and blending words along with alphabet knowledge and language awareness through nursery rhymes.
