Third grade students are becoming multiplication masters! This week we were discovering patterns on the multiplication table. Students worked together to fill in a multiplication table using patterns such as add adding products from three and four to get the product of a 7’s fact.

Lunch recess was full of students working together to solve a problem, being good friends to one another, and being helpful with a push on the tire swing.

Alyssa is preparing our Robot for competition, by giving it some style! Tomorrow our Robotics team will travel to NJC for the practice portion of our Robotic games! Students have been working hard on building, designing, programing, and documenting our Robot this year. Good Luck Team!

Congratulations to the Senior class, you earned the Good News Call of the Day! While decorating floats, the wind came up, not once but several times. The Sophomores were working diligently to build their float along the street as their trailer was too large to fit into the van barn. Upon the last gust of wind, their float was obliterated. The seniors learned where the Sophomores were headed in town to get out of the wind and requested that they put their float on hold (as it was nearly completed). The Seniors then gathered together and headed to the Sophomore's location to help them rebuild their float. This is what it's all about. . . . We are incredibly PROUD of this group of teenagers!!!

We are so proud of our students for the hard work that is involved with earning a spot in the Academic Hall of Fame. These students earned scores on their NWEA tests that ranks them in the top five scores ever achieved at Julesburg Jr./Sr. High School. Way to go Hall of Famers!

Art students are working on their Still Life drawings. Still life art can be dated back as early as Ancient Egypt, thru to Roman and Greek Art and became very popular in the 1500’s.
