Congratulations to JHS Senior William Jacobs for being awarded the Southwestern Assemblies of God University Academic Scholarship. This scholarship award is for $8,000.

Congratulations to JHS Senior Emily Fowler for being selected for the Colorado Mesa University's Academic Achievement Award. In addition Emily is the recipient of the First Generation Scholarship and CMU’s Legacy Scholarship. These awards have a combined value of $13,000.

Sixty percent of our High School students earned a spot on the honor roll! We are so proud of our students for achieving this prestigious honor!

Sixth grade is trying a new way to review for an upcoming math test. Yesterday, teachers learned about and got to use an interactive tool called Nearpod during our professional development. I decided to try it out with sixth grade today as a review tool in addition to our usual test review. It was fun to try something new!




Week 1 of our unit was researching the rules and roles of various team sports. Today started week 2. Students started planning and designing either a new board game or a sports games, and learned that teamwork does not just happen in sports.

Attention Youth Wrestlers - Due to the potential storm, the youth wrestling meeting that was originally scheduled for this Wednesday (1/18) has been moved to Sunday (1/22) at 3:00 p.m. at Revere.
Our Sophomores continue to achieve and grow at an extremely high rate. Their work on the Winter NWEA assessments was impressive. We are so proud of their effort!
