"This summer I got the opportunity to work with JHL with building the new school. I have learned a lot with working here. I was given the opportunity to learn how to operate a forklift and get certified. I learned things that I could use later in life and some valuable lessons. This company (JHL) was very welcoming and took the time to help teach us how to do new things and tell us why we had to do it. It was interesting to see how things were built and put together. From my time here it was amazing to see how fast things go. I enjoyed the work environment and the people I worked with. I thank Greg, Cole and Chris for taking the time and helping me have this experience." - Lexi Hackbart

One of the most valuable and exciting accomplishments was learning to maneuver a forklift and getting certified. It is very thrilling to drive heavy equipment that can pick extremely heavy things off the ground so effortlessly. As summer comes to an end, Julesburg’s PK-12 replacement school’s local summer help will be leaving for school and new adventures.
