
This week we are trying out something new in third grade. We replaced the hard chairs with balance balls and added a little morning balance ball workout. What a difference it has made!



Here we go! Third and fourth grades are coming together for an art project inspired by the Abstract and Expressionist works of artist Jackson Pollock. Today students used crayons to color/draw to music from The Piano Guys. This project will take several days to complete.



Congratulations to JHS Senior, Chloe Goshe.
Chloe is the recipient of the American Red Cross Hope Begins With You Scholarship for her coordinating efforts in our community. Last year, she was instrumental in coordinating and hosting several blood drives of which they collected 117 units. Chloe will receive a $750 scholarship.

Week of the Young Child kept our preschooler classroom busy!
We played rhythm sticks on Music Monday, ate fruit and yogurt parfaits on Tasty Tuesday, created a box fort on Work Together and made Art collages and clay sculptures on Artsy Thursday.

"Lego" of what you are doing right now and check out these creations! Our S.T.E.A.M. Club was back at it taking part in Lego challenges. Their creativity is nothing short of spectacular. Next week, we are on to peep parachutes and egg launchers!

Third grade delivered all of the donated items to Adopt-A-Dog animal shelter and tour the facility. Students got to live on some of the dogs and cats available for adoption. ~It takes nothing away from a human to be kind to an animal~ Thank you, you made a difference ❤️





On Thursday, March 31st, seven of our junior girls attended the Sonia Kovalevsky Math Day at Colorado State University. Keynote Speaker, Dr. Tegan Emerson, discussed her path in mathematics and her research in Topology.

JHS students completed service projects at the courthouse and the Welcome Center. Students picked up debris, tree limbs and did some gardening. Way to go Avery, Bella, Jensen, Katelyn, Keyana, Kierra, Logan, Peyton, Rylie and Vivian! We are so proud of your hard work!
