Julesburg FFA Members’ time in Indianapolis at the National FFA Convention has come to an end. They attended the last few business sessions, toured downtown Indianapolis, and saw the National Officers be elected and installed. While there were many formal educational opportunities, the learning and growth these students went through is hard to measure yet impactful. If you see these three, ask them about this unique experience and look forward to the leadership they developed in action at our local chapter. To support members and meaningful opportunities like this one, contact the local AgEd Instructor, Cheyanne Hope, at hope_ch@julesburg.org or find an Agricultural Education student in a few weeks for our annual wreath sales!

So much goes into learning to read. It is a very complex task! Our kindergartners are learning to sound out consonant vowel consonant words and our 3rd graders are learning strategies to read multisyllabic words by chunking out the word and identifying where the vowels are.
