
3rd graders are learning to write friendly letters. In this module, they brainstormed their future hopes and dreams and are writing a letter to their future self!



JES was awarded the USDA Fresh Fruit and Veggie Program Grant for the 2021-2022 school year. Each day, students are provided (free of charge) a different fruit or veggie. Ask your child what they had for their snack each day!

Seventh grade students identified the anatomy of a flower by dissecting fresh flowers and labeling each of their parts. They identified the stamen, stigma, anthers, ovary, ovules, stalk, stem, and petals.

Melissa Smith, Northwest Kansas Technical College, meets with the juniors and seniors from JHS to discuss the career pathways they provide and how to sucessfully pay for your post-secondary education.

Mr. Ehnes, JHS Superintendent, joined the Class of 2025 as they were awarded a pizza party for achieving the highest percentage of students to achieve their fall NWEA goals. They were eager to discuss their scores with him and the strategies they put into play in order to reach their personal goals.
