Good Morning JSD Families! Just a reminder...today is the LAST day for summer food service so we can allow our food service employees to prepare for the upcoming school year. We are grateful for the opportunity to have supported the students of our community throughout the summer. Thank you again for participating and we look forward to a great 2021-2022 school year!

The HS Cougar VB team took time out of practice to present their Secret Sister jars. Each player was given a teammate to encourage, motivate and spoil during the season. They will attempt to place encouraging notes/gifts in their assigned teammate’s jar without getting caught!

This Saturday at 9 am in Julesburg, the Sedgwick County Cougar Volleyball team will take on Haxtun and Briggsdale. There will be both JV and Varsity games played simultaneously on two nets. We need volunteers to help run this tournament. JSD Families and Community-We are grateful to have had the opportunity to provide summer meals to our children throughout the summer. This is just a reminder that we will continue summer food service (breakfast and lunch) through August 19th. We will continue to serve meals Monday-Thursday from 11:30 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. (curbside pick-up) at Julesburg Elementary School. If you plan to continue to pick up those meals and you have already signed up, you do not need to sign up again. If you have not signed up and would like to pick up meals during August, please fill out the form below. If you have already signed up and you do NOT plan to get meals during August, please email Rhonda Palic at palic_rh@julesburg.org to discontinue summer meal service. Attention Families of Preschoolers! Registration for the Julesburg Early Education Center is now open! If you have not registered for preschool for the 2021-2022 school year, please plan to stop by the Julesburg Early Education Center located at 525 Spruce Street at the south end of the elementary school to enroll. JSD Families...The Early Childhood Council for Logan, Phillips, and Sedgwick County has announced a FREE Healthy Child Clinic on Wednesday, July 14th between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. at the Northeast Colorado Health Department (700 Columbine Street in Sterling). To arrange an appointment, call 970-522-3741, ext. 1248 or 1242. These screenings include, vision, hearing, developmental, height, weight, social/emotional, speech and dental. Immunizations will also be available.

School Physicals:

JSD Families and Community-Just a reminder, we moved to the Monday through Thursday summer meal distribution schedule this past week (June 28th-July 1st). Both Thursday and Friday's meals were distributed on Thursday, therefore is no meal pick-up today. We will continue the Monday-Thursday (11:30-12:00 curbside at Julesburg Elementary School) meal pick-up schedule throughout July and August unless our numbers significantly change. We are currently serving close to 60 kids which is terrific! If you have not signed up and would like to take advantage of these meals, please click on the link below. Also, if there are days you will be out of town and will not need meals, please email Rhonda Palic at palic_rh@julesburg.org so we can adjust the count accordingly.
