Debby Wagner from Western Nebraska Community College meets with the JHS juniors about the options their college has to offer our upcoming seniors!

We are taking “mindful walks” for Second Step today. It’s a beautiful day with perfect weather for noticing all of the natural things around us.

Today Kindergarten learned a game called “Toss Your Sticks.” They took the game home to teach their parents. We weren’t able to hold our normal Parent Night in person, but this is the next best thing. 😊. Fun to be had by all!

April 26-May 1st Activity Calendar

Students in Career Explorations are creating skits on the five factors that influence a person's credit score.

We are supplementing the curriculum with card games and puzzles to get more practice counting money. In second grade the difficulty lies in identifying coins on paper and giving change. The students enjoyed this approach and have more automaticity with counting money because of the games.

The sophomores are working on dissection to look at body systems.

Sedgwick County students gather at the Julesburg High School auditorium to take part in a watch party for the 2021 State FBLA Awards Ceremony. Due to COVID restrictions State FBLA was virtual this year instead of the normal venue hosted at the Gaylord of the Rockies. CONGRATULATIONS to team Jared Ehmke, Kierra Ehnes, and Kaleb Fowler for placing top 10 in their event, Social Media Strategies.

The JHS choir is at it again! They've been practicing choreography for their spring concert. The choirs are working on a very diverse and entertaining program that they can't wait to share.

Julesburg High School students in grades 7th – 12th took part in the Colorado Department of Transportation’s THINKFAST INTERACTIVE Teen Driver Safety Program.
