Our 7th graders dove into the world of two-step equations! Using computers, whiteboards, and calculators, they practiced solving equations to gain confidence. Students are practicing isolating the variable, and the importance of checking our answers!

Our 3rd through 6th graders are working together on a vibrant art project inspired by the amazingJim Dine! For week one students painted "canvas" backgrounds, fostering creativity and teamwork. It's wonderful to see them having fun and collaborating with different classmates to create something truly special. Next week we will have the completed pieces to share.
Exciting things are happening in third grade! Our students have been learning about traits in different organisms. They studied various animal pictures to uncover inherited traits and examined four types of spider plants to identify common characteristics

Learning about plants is best done through hands-on experience. Our second-grade students explored the outdoors to discover different types of plants and observe their unique characteristics. They learned that all plants need sunlight, air, water, space, and nutrients to thrive in their habitats.
Mrs. Weber, Josh Kunkel and Ryan Palic shared their passion for music and their recent Honor Band experience with the members of the Sedgwick County Rotary Club.
