
Learning new vocabulary doesn't have to be boring. Third Graders used movement to learn their new words as they answered questions and explained their reasoning.









Jacob Liles earned the Good News Call of the Day from Ms. Miller.
"This morning at breakfast I watched a little elementary kid accidentally drop his breakfast on the ground while putting his tray away. There were other kids that saw it happen, but Jacob was the only one who stopped to help the little boy clean up. It was really nice to see the kindness from a Junior High student to an Elementary student," Ms. Miller.


Geometry Students completed a scavenger hunt by using the Laws of Sines. In pairs students walked around the classroom from point to point using their previous answer.

Congratulations to JHS Senior Alyssa Ellison for being selected as the Jacob & Anne B. Walter Educational Trust Scholarship recipient. This scholarship award is worth $1,000.


Congratulations to JHS Senior Bella Campbell for being selected as a recipient of the following scholarships from Northeastern Junior College: Bank of Colorado $250, NJC Foundation $250 and the NJC Foundation HOPE Scholarship $2,000.


Congratulations to JHS Senior Peyton Worley for being selected as a recipient of the Amalgamated Sugar Company Scholarship. This scholarship award is a renewable $1,500 award.

League High School Track Meet here in Julesburg!


Congratulations to JHS Seniors Jolene Mathies, Jordyn Strasser, & Peyton Worley for being selected as the 2024 recipients of the Leola G. Compton Foundation Scholarship. This scholarship award varies for each recipient.



Savanna's last day with 3rd Grade. She did her internship with us this year and was a big help with whatever I needed her to do. We will miss her these last few weeks of school. Good luck in your future endeavors! Thank you for all of your help.

Claudia Rhoades, who is one of the Julesburg FFA Chapter Officers, spoke to the 7th grade Ag Class about advocating for agriculture and talked about the social media pages that she has created to help eliminate the myths around ag.



Today is National School Lunch Hero Day and I would like to thank Keith Law for having my back these last few weeks. We couldn't do it without him. He is a true hero.

Congratulations to JHS Senior Caleb Benson for receiving the Leadership, Education, Opportunity Foundation Scholarship from Grand Canyon University. Caleb was selected as one of the recipients from more than 600 applicants. This scholarship award is worth $1,000


Congratulations! Octavias Ortiz, Candice Robertson, & Levi Paiz for earning The Good News Call of the Day from Mrs. Ehnes.
These three students were all caught up on their classes so they tackled the commons area following lunch for grades K-12. They wiped down all of the tables and chairs and swept the entire area preparing it to be scrubbed. They saved our custodians a lot of time today and their assistance is greatly appreciated.


Algebra 1 completed a Murder Mystery by multiplying polynomials. Each answer gave students a clue. Students also completed a pixel art image to prepare them for the murder mystery!







Even though the seniors are down to their final hours this senior, Caleb Benson, takes time out of his day to help an underclassman better understand U.S. History.
