
7th Grade students are learning to Keyboard in Computer Class. Students have been using the EasyTech Curriculum to learn and practice the correct positioning, using the correct fingers. Today we are progress monitoring them with their hands covered! Our goal is to type 30 words per minute with 95% accuracy by the end of the semester.

Block play allows children to learn about cause and effect, problem solve, collaborate, communicate, and reflect as they create.








Buttons!! Buttons!! Buttons!! Kindergarten loved learning about sorting by sorting buttons! They sorted by color, number of holes, size and shape.





Things are starting to get scary! Third Graders are writing a fictional narrative that happens to be a scary story. Students selected their settings and characters, then completed a graphic organizer to help describe each one. They shared their descriptions with a partner and then decided they should combine to make one story. Just in time for Halloween to give you a frightening read.

7th grade students have been working on identifying and representing proportional relationships. They completed an online activity where they learned computer tricks to sort tables, verbal descriptions, graphs, diagrams, and even answered questions to solve rate problems.











Junior High students in Individual Career and Academic Planning class work on making the most of their life! They will describe the characteristics of personality and distinguish between self-concept and self-esteem. They will also explain the connection between competence and confidence while identifying the benefits of a positive attitude.

We learned the basics of welding by "welding" graham crackers together with chocolate frosting. It was a delicious lesson.

Congratulations goes out to JHS Senior Jordyn Strasser for receiving the University of Northern Colorado's Presidential Scholarship Award. The Presidential Scholarship recognises students talents and academic efforts and commitments. This award has a value of $14,000 over the course of four years.
