The Plant Science class has been studying floriculture. They put what they have learned to the test and created their own flower arrangements using the techniques that they have learned.

Julesburg FFA students attended the National Western Stock Show. The students talked with vendors about their business. They attended the rodeo and the junior market cattle show which was a first for some of the students.

Seniors in Family Consumer Science class have been studying the food groups. They have learned about meat and protein. The looked up recipes for jerky and are slicing venison and beef to make jerky in the dehydrator.

Third Grade is learning how to write an informational report. Students were given titles and had to determine whether they were informational or not informational.






Congratulations to our Junior High School Superintendent's Honor Roll students! The students who earned all A's are: Brooklyn Glende, Ryan Palic, Italia Roman, Lauryn Lindsay, Addison Renquist and Dannika Wilson. We are proud of your hard work!

Due to the extremely cold (-30 degrees windchill) temperatures tomorrow morning, we will again have a 10 am late start on Tuesday, January 16th.

This week kindergarten and first
graders had a great time keeping the balloons in the air in different ways with ping pong paddles! This activity helps improve the students' hand-eye coordination while still having fun. Second graders also participated in this activity!

Brycce will graduate in May from Colorado State University.

Freshman have been working with arithmetic sequences. They have identified the common difference and written explicit and recursive rules. They use the rules to find other terms in the sequence.
