The esports team traveled for the first time for a competition to Scottsbluff Nebraska! They had a lot of fun!
Right now, the Red Cross has an immediate need for blood. Our blood drive plays an important role during this time to ensure there are no delays in medical treatment for patients in need. Did you know almost 20% of blood donations come from high school and college blood drives like ours? When donors come to give blood at our blood drive, October 23 @ the Christian Church, they’ll receive an exclusive Red Cross T-shirt, while supplies last. Plus, all those who come to give blood Oct. 21-Nov. 9, 2023, will receive a $10 e-gift card. To make an appointment, call the school at 474-3364.

As a wrap-up to the week, Kindergarten's Character Strong lesson was to do a feelings checkup for the week. Each student was able to circle their feeling for the week and also to explain their feelings (if they wanted to). This lesson taught us that there are many different feelings and emotions that we all have.
Patterns, patterns and more patterns! Kindergarten did a "patterns walk" to see the pattern that each student created. We then repeated the patterns aloud to help us remember that patterns repeat, repeat, repeat!
Pre-K worked on shapes this week.
The JH Ag class got a little taste of the FFA contests by doing a little floriture competition. The FFA members do this competition as part of their Career Development Events.

7th Grade students are learning to Keyboard in Computer Class. Students have been using the EasyTech Curriculum to learn and practice the correct positioning, using the correct fingers. Today we are progress monitoring them with their hands covered! Our goal is to type 30 words per minute with 95% accuracy by the end of the semester.
