As most of you may have noticed, due to the weather conditions, the Missoula Children's Theater performance originally scheduled for tonight (3/25) has been rescheduled for tomorrow, Sunday, March 26th at 12:30 p.m. at the Julesburg High School Auditorium. Stay safe and warm everyone!
The 4th graders got their creative minds flowing this week, thanks to Mrs. A. Dragon eyes, mountain skies, and hearts came to life through the artistic minds and hands of these talented students!
A huge thank you to Mr. Palic and Mrs. Brandt for teaching the students about soil and erosion.
They had great experiments and lots of vocabulary for students to learn.
They even played jeopardy at the end to review the main concepts and a little bit of Colorado history.

Congratulations to JHS Senior Rylie Ingram for being selected as a Green & Gold Scholarship recipient from Colorado State University. The scholarship award is in recognition for exceptional academic qualifications. This award is for $10,000.
Who knows what time it is? Third grade will in no time. This week started our time unit. Third Graders made analog clocks to help them learn how to tell time to the minute.
Congratulations to Jensen Renquist, who has been selected as a Daniels Scholarship recipient! Daniels Scholars are selected because they embody the criteria Bill Daniels defined for the program:

All Daniels Scholars will receive up to $100,000 to be applied at any two- or four-year, nonprofit, accredited college or university in the United States.
Jensen plans to attend the University of Northern Colorado, majoring in Secondary Education-Mathematics. Her goal is to complete a Master's Degree to become a High School/College Mathematics Teacher and serve in a rural community.
Congratulations to Julesburg High School Junior Kaden Harens for being selected to receive the Colorado School of Mines Medal of Achievement in Math & Science. Kaden was awarded this distinction due to his high achievement and accomplishments at the high school level in both Math & Science.
Congratulations goes out to JHS Senior Kierra Ehnes for being selected as a PCtelcom Scholarship recipient. Kierra will receive a $500 scholarship award.

Congratulations Jolene Mathies for earning the Good News Call of the Day from Mrs. Ehnes. Jolene was caught up in her work so she kindly pulled up a chair to support another student in his learning!! This is what it's all about . . . students helping students!!! 💜 Way to go Jolene!
Mrs. Edwards has been visiting the 1st grade classroom for the past few weeks teaching them some zones lessons. She taught them some strategies for staying calm when we get upset. Here they are practicing some breathing techniques!
