Chimney Rock did not disappoint! The facilities are new and very hands on. The students could relate it to their learning about the Oregon Trail.

Second grade finished up their unit on Japan by making origami hats. We also had a surprise guest come and share his experiences when living in Japan for a year.
This curriculum comes with a "passport" that students keep all year with pictures from each unit to remind them of their learning. These will be on display at our showcase night Tuesday.
