Our district adopted a new online program called Xello. At the second grade level it's career choices and responsibilities that job would entail. It also asks interest survey questions to help teachers get to know the students better. It is very interactive. The students love it. A huge thank you to Mr. Sanabria and Mrs. Palic for helping us be successful on Xello.
Pre-K worked on making patterns this week.

Fourth graders learned how to use the partial products method to multiply multi-digit numbers.

Third Graders are working on sharpening multiplication facts they have been learning. They teamed up and raced to solve multiplication facts and learned a new a new strategy to multiply 6-10 using their hands.
The Principles of Ag class has been learning about the basics of animal reproduction. They got the opportunity to use our simulator see what it is like to palpate a cow to check whether or not a cow would be bred.
Representatives from 21st Century Equipment spoke to our Ag Mechanics Class. They talked to the students about programs the student can be apart of after high school and future careers with 21st Century.

Congratulations goes out to JHS Senior Avery Goddard for receiving the University of Northern Colorado's Presidential Scholarship Award. The Presidential Scholarship recognises students talents and academic efforts and commitments. This award has a value of $14,000 over the course of four years.

Happening TODAY . . . the American Red Cross has an immediate need for blood!!! Our blood drive plays an important role during this time to ensure there are no delays in medical treatment for patients in need. Did you know almost 20% of blood donations come from high school and college blood drives like ours? When donors come to give blood at our blood drive today, October 23 @ the Christian Church in Julesburg, from 12:00 pm - 5:30 pm, they’ll receive an exclusive Red Cross T-shirt, while supplies last.
