IT'S PICTURE DAY!
Don't forget to wear your smile!

4th grade practicing their decoding skill for the week with a word sort.

Putting our hypothesis to the test. 4th graders made different height and length ramps to test the speed and distance an object would travel.

Second grade kicked off their module on the properties of matter with an experiment trying to determine where the salt went.
We put salt in paper bags and sprayed them to simulate rain/snow just like the character in our story.
The big question for this module revolves around which container is appropriate for the material it contains.
They are very curious to continue to learn and experiment with solids, liquids, and gases.

REMINDER - Picture day is tomorrow (Monday, October 2nd)
Be sure to send order packets to school!

Geometry students wrapped up Module 1 where they studied polygons, lines, angles, learned new equations and used numeorus geometric tools. They paired up and navigated the review packet at their own pace while playing for a chance of “extra” credit. Best of luck on the test!

The Ag Classes went outside to practice ecological site evaluations in preparation for the upcoming District Range Judging Competition.

Some Ag Students had the opportunity to go to the District Range Competition. The students learned from professionals and were able to put what they have learned into practice. Also, Claudia Rhoades won a bronze award for her work in the field.

Mrs. Hansen's preschool class is figuring out new ways to use technology all the time! We practice number writing, use the spotlight remote to search for letters, and pass the speaker ball during classroom activities. "Who stole the cookie from the cookie jar?" is more fun when you get to hear your voice amplified!!

It may look like Kindergarten is doing a science experiment, but we were actually learning about looking closely at our stories and adding details to our illustrations.
