It's Elementary My Dear Watson! These 6th graders are involved in one of our enrichment infusion courses. They are reading "The Westing Game" together, solving puzzles and having great discussions in order to discover the "big secret". As they read and work through logic puzzles in each lesson, they also are developing a detective notebook as they navigate through the mystery.

Our fourth graders are working hard reading "Shiloh" for their latest novel study. Novel studies are a great way to meet ELA standards for all students. By conducting novel studies, students engage in meaningful discussion, context-clue word work, and written response/reflection related to the story. This is also a great way to expose students to a variety of genres. Ask your child what he or she is reading right now in school!
