More pictures from the presentation from NRCS about soil health and erosion.

Second grade is so thankful for the awesome presentation from Daniel Palic and Sherrie Brandt from the NRCS about erosion and soil health. They presented a slide show and had an experiment to show the difference in heathy soil and unhealthy soil and what it does when it gets water. They then finished with a game of jeopardy for prizes. The students learned so much. Soil health is the key to ALL of our health!

HAPPY NATIONAL FFA WEEK! To kick off this week, students attend the “Become the Leader You Wish to Be” conference at NJC where they listen to keynotes from Temple Grandin, Landan Schaffert, heard panel discussions about Agriculture and government from Senator Jerry Sonnenberg and Rod Pelton, and learned leadership skills and how to be involved from NJC’s Associated Student Government. Look forward to the many great FFA Week activities! #Coffaweek22 #Coloffa

TBT: In celebration of FFA week. I thought I would take a look at some FFA from the past!
Pictured here are members from 1954, 1966, 1967, and 2018!

Students are enjoying the new Clevertouch boards we are trying out for the new JSD PK-12 school building! Teachers and students will get to engage with the technologies that will be integrated within the school.

More Missoula Children's Theater Workshop fun...

Thank you to Marcia Hill and the Missoula Children's Theater Leaders for the wonderful workshop this week. Students were actively engaged in learning about creative dramatics and the art of mime! Can't wait for the big performance this weekend!

Miss Jourdin's preschoolers having fun on Twosday! 2 cute, right?

Notice anything different in front of JHS?….
In honor of National FFA Week, there’s a Case tractor parked on the corner of 6th and Cedar. More will join the fleet on Friday as it’s “Drive Your Tractor to School Day!”
Shoutout to Josh Lechman for lending his tractor!

Happy TwosDay!!! 2-22-22, 2:22 dance party! Preschool joined in with the “Cupid Shuffle”. Aside from being a fun time, we got a little practice in with left and right distinction ;)

A little Twosday fun in third grade today. Students did several activities around the number two, working in twos, walking down the hall in twos…you get the idea. At 2:22 we stopped for a little dance party.

Go Cougars!!!!
