More Pancakes and Pajamas Photos...

Pancakes and Pajamas! Thank you to all of our families for attending our third morning parent academy. Families enjoyed a great breakfast while learning about the 9 Most Important Minutes. This includes the first 3 minutes when your child awakes in the morning, the three minutes after they get home from school, and the three minutes before they go to bed.

Our 6th graders are strummin' a good time! Mrs. Jacobs has just begun her ukulele unit and WOW, they are doing great! Music instruction does so much for educating the whole child. Not only does it build a love for music, it improves memory, math and literacy skills and attention.

More dragon's eyes...

Check out these amazing art projects! We want to give a HUGE shout-out to our 4th grade teacher's mom, Patty Auernhamer who has come in this school year to share her incredible artistic talents with all of our students. This past week, our students created Dragon's Eyes - so beautiful!

GOOD LUCK!

Support your local FFA Chapter by attending the Hired Hand Auction 4/7. A delicious meal of steak and Rocky Mountain oysters will be served.
This event raises funds for member opportunities and to connect students with great community partners like you. Hope to see you there!

And...one more...

Did we tell you how much we enjoyed our first S.T.E.A.M. after-school club project? These ecosystems turned out great!

And...a few more ecosystem pictures...

More S.T.E.A.M. Club Ecosystem Pictures...

Excellent Elementary Ecosystems! We had a blast on our first official afternoon of S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) Club at JES. Fourth grade teacher, Mrs. Auernhamer opened the afternoon with a quick mini lesson on ecosystems. Students then got the opportunity to create their own ecosystem that even included a fish! A special thank you goes out to our high school students for assisting us with this project. We could not have done it without you. Also, thank you to JES Staff who also made this first afternoon possible. Next week, we will celebrate March Madness with building a basketball shooter!

Hey JES Families...Don't miss out on the annual Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by S.H.O.U.T. Thank you to the ladies of this great group for continuing to provide great events for the youth of our community. We all appreciate you!
