Rob Crowder, Sedgwick County Emergency Manager and Polly Olson, Chappell Volunteer Fire Department EMT teach students from Julesburg High School the protocol for STOP THE BLEED.
The purpose of the STOP THE BLEED® campaign is to make our nation more resilient by better preparing the public to save lives if people nearby are severely bleeding. This preparation is being done by raising awareness and teaching people how to learn three quick actions to control serious bleeding. Thank you to the Thomas D. Buckley Trust for purchasing the initial training kits to provide this education to our communities and schools. For more information around this national campaign go to: Bleedcontrol.org
