Congratulations to JHS Seniors Itai Gonzales & Kaden Harens for being selected as the Dwane & Sandra Maahs Memorial Scholarship recipients. This scholarship aims to support both those dedicated to mental health services and those pursuing STEM fields. By recognizing the importance of addressing mental health challenges and encouraging advancement in science and technology, it's fostering growth and innovation in areas critical to our society's well-being. Sandi & Jr. understood and recognized the issues mental health could impose on one's life. Each will receive a $2,500 scholarship.

Congratulations to JHS Senior Liam Buettenback for being selected as the Robert & Lillian Jenkins Family Scholarship recipient. Liam will receive a scholarship award of $1,000.

First we learned how to compare fractions with same numerators or same denominators, now 3rd grade is comparing equivalent fractions that have smaller and larger pieces. Fraction bars help students to be hands-on while they learn how fractions can appear different but are actually the same.







Congratulations to JHS Senior Avery Goddard for being selected as a recipient of the Independent Community Bankers of Colorado Scholarship. This is a $1,750 one time scholarship award.

Congratulations to JHS Seniors Kaden Harens & Peyton Worley for being selected as the Thomas D. Buckley Trust Scholarship recipients. Each will receive a scholarship award of $1,000.

Third and Fourth Grades got their monsters back that they made on our two part field trip. They were excited to see the final results, they turned out great.


Learning new vocabulary doesn't have to be boring. Third Graders used movement to learn their new words as they answered questions and explained their reasoning.








Jacob Liles earned the Good News Call of the Day from Ms. Miller.
"This morning at breakfast I watched a little elementary kid accidentally drop his breakfast on the ground while putting his tray away. There were other kids that saw it happen, but Jacob was the only one who stopped to help the little boy clean up. It was really nice to see the kindness from a Junior High student to an Elementary student," Ms. Miller.

Geometry Students completed a scavenger hunt by using the Laws of Sines. In pairs students walked around the classroom from point to point using their previous answer.





Congratulations to JHS Senior Bella Campbell for being selected as a recipient of the following scholarships from Northeastern Junior College: Bank of Colorado $250, NJC Foundation $250 and the NJC Foundation HOPE Scholarship $2,000.
