Kindergarten enjoyed the Homecoming Parade!đź’ś
Congratulations Savanna Harris for earning the Good News Call of the Day. Savanna has been a huge part of Digital Media this year, taking on a lot of grunt work. She is ready and willing to help with the live streams on all away volleyball games. She took on the task of scanning yearbook photos for our Throwback Thursday posts. And she spends extra time from her day to work on editing footage, and watching game video to find clips for the videos. Way to go Savanna! We are so proud of you!
Our last visitor for preschool’s community helper unit was from the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Department. Thank you Deputy Quayle for sharing your time with us.
Kindergarten was practicing their counting skills by playing a math game.

Hey 4th Grade Parents! Ask your fourth grader what they know about the layers of the Earth! Our 4th graders have been learning to identify each layer as well as the characteristics of each layer of the Earth. The fun really began when they built the layers with different colors/flavors of pudding, coconut and Oreo cookies!
Togas are the best way to introduce second graders to Ancient Greece. We will be learning about democracy and Greek Gods.
Each day during our writing block, Third Graders are give ten minutes to write about anything they want in their journal. We do this to get our creative minds warmed up prior to the writing lesson. Today students wanted to share stories they have written during these short sessions. I was amazed at some of the stories done through written words and illustrations.
