Preschool had a great holiday season! Decorating our tree in dramatic play was so much fun! Our class Gingerbread Man brought us decorations for the dollhouse and we did art at home for a hallway project. We finished the year with a book exchange before our program:)

Reindeer are on the loose…wrapping paper reindeer that is! K-3 used wrapping paper as the body and drew the rest of the reindeer. There were so many cute and creative reindeer made.

Congratulations to JHS Senior, Logan Edson, for being named a Husker Tradition Scholar at the University of Nebraska @ Lincoln. This scholarship award is in recognition of outstanding academic accomplishments and excellent admission examination performance. The value of this scholarship award is $8,000.

JSD Families - For those who signed up for the Project Angel Tree, pick up for those items will be on December 21st from 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. and again on December 22nd from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The location is on 2nd Street behind Equitable.
Due to continued high winds, road closures, impassable county roads and town streets, the Julesburg School District is cancelling school for tomorrow, Friday, December 16th.
Congratulations to JHS Senior, Jensen Renquist, for being named a Daniels Scholarship semi-finalist. The Daniels Scholarship Program provides the opportunity for motivated students to attend the college of their choice. Daniels Scholars® will receive up to $100,000 to be applied at any two- or four-year, nonprofit, accredited college or university in the United States, depending on financial need.
